385 new bands this week in the seven genres I play: under 25,000 monthly listeners, first songs within 3 years, found on Bandcamp’s new arrivals and in my own playlists. Some are on Spotify, some only on Bandcamp; both are here. A rule I wrote does the finding. I do the keeping.
Shoegaze on my show · 195 bands found in the last 30 days, 86 of them only on Bandcamp. I started this list with 80 bands already in my EKHO Sonic Shoegaze; they sit at the end.

At 6:50 my studio reads Bandcamp’s new arrivals for each genre I play, the last seven days, and my own playlists where I keep one. Albums only: no merch, no labels standing in for bands.
A band is new to me when it has under 25,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and its first songs are no more than 3 years old. Small and old isn’t new. I read the number off the band’s public Spotify page; I don’t round it.
I count a Bandcamp band as the same band on Spotify only when Spotify shows the same release, or one within four months. Until then it stays Bandcamp-only.
Every find lands in my listening queue and in its genre list at the same time. I listen, and what doesn’t belong on the show I take out of the genre list. The ones that stay carry my pick mark here. The finding is a rule I wrote. The keeping is me.
Every band here has a thumbs-up key, the same one as in my player. I show the count once a band has three; I don’t rank by it, and nobody starts at zero. Your taps reach me beside my own picks. No cookies, no account, nothing about you is kept.
Check my list: today’s full data. My sources: Bandcamp Discover (new arrivals, by tag), Spotify artist pages (monthly listeners, releases), and my own Spotify playlists. I shaped the page after what works on Hype Machine (sources on every row), triple j Unearthed (one row for every band) and Bandcamp Discover (one filter bar), which I studied on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.
