Mood Rings were a five-piece out of Atlanta, Georgia: William Fussell, Tymb Gratz, Christopher Alley, Peter Cauthorn and Seth Bolton. Shoegaze haze mixed with post-punk rhythm. Stereogum called it "dreamy post-punk." After the 2011 EP Sweater Weather Forever they signed to Mexican Summer for their only album, VPI Harmony (2013), which AllMusic praised for its "oddly luxurious feel." "Pathos y Lagrimas" was the band's second single, featured in Converse's "Ready, Set: Get Lost" music series in 2012. They split in 2015, and Fussell moved to London and went on to record alt-country as Honey Harper.
